THE LIBRARIAN FROM THE BLACK LAGOON
Mike Thaler
Read by Alexander Gould

Another installment in the popular Teacher from the Black Lagoon series elaborates on the rumors about the strict school librarian. Mrs. Beamster is called “The Laminator." You get laminated for talking in the library. You're not allowed to breathe in there, and the books are bolted onto the shelves to keep them in order and . . . you get the idea. Alexander Gould is once again terrific as the young boy relaying all this to listeners. He really sounds young and scared, and it's highly entertaining to hear each new distorted "fact" about the school library. Light sound effects add amusing touches as do Jared Lee's humorous illustrations in the accompanying book. J.C.G. © AudioFile 2007, Portland, Maine [Published: DEC 07/ JAN 08]
