THE GHOST AND MRS. HOBBS

DeFelice's heroine from THE GHOST OF FOSSIL GLEN is back! In this adventure, a smooth-talking ghost has evidence about a fire, possibly started by the same person whom Allie Nicholas is interviewing for her Elder's Day project at school. Allie is faced with the problems of how to determine Mrs. Hobbs's true role in the event and, as before, how much of her ghost visions to share with other people. Christina Moore's pacing heightens the suspense of each unfolding event, slowing for emphasis and speeding with the pounding of Allie's heart as her dreams and her real life become equally frightening.
