THIRTEEN UNPREDICTABLE TALES

Jennings creates a real mix of very short to moderately long stories that range from creepy to funny to downright odd. The endings vary as much as the stories themselves, with narrator Steven Pacey giving each his best treatment. We move back in time to a dragon and then become more modern with a silly and embarrassing use of a lie detector. Craziest of all is the surprise video control that enables a boy to pause, fast forward, and reverse people's actions. He makes good use of this against a bully and during an important race.
