REMEMBERING MOG

As Annie's high school graduation approaches, she reflects upon her beloved older sister, Mog. Mog had led the way for her sister until she was killed in a robbery attempt the night before her own high school graduation. Once Annie has graduated, she will have gone beyond Mog into an unknown future: an absolutely terrifying prospect. Julie Dretzin's thoughtful performance of Annie's introspective journey invokes an incredible emotional pull. Her characterizations of Mog's friends and family, who must come to terms with Mog's death in order to remember the value of her life, are compelling.
