VIKING AT SCHOOL

Strong's series features Sigurd the Viking (yes, a real Viking), who lives in twentieth-century England and is even married. In this episode Sigurd is too rough for professional wrestling and returns, with his wife, to the town of Flotby. His welcome is very short, and someone hits upon the idea of sending him to school to learn contemporary manners. This hilarious tale is read with gusto by Nigel Lambert. A one-man children's theater, Lambert performs Sigurd with a deep, gruff voice and also brings out his somewhat confused state.
