McNALLY'S ALIBI

Archy McNally, a private investigator who is on the trail of a missing Truman Capote manuscript, finds blackmail and murder instead in steamy South Florida. Hired by a well-known collector, McNally doesn't realize the scandal that awaits. McNally's character combines quips, flirtatious banter, and enjoyable suspense to bring this story to a surprising, but light-hearted conclusion. Boyd Gaines weaves the story and characters with skill, using versatile dialects for the different characters.
