The substance of this investment advice is well written and coherent: Learn how to budget, set goals, evaluate priorities, think long term, and be smart about stock selections. Where it is extraordinary is how the authors frame this information in a language and style that even the most distractible, short-sighted teen will warm up to. Without talking down to them or excessively condensing the material, they focus on what's in it for listeners now, and promote interest in how they'll benefit later. The Gardners' young-at-heart delivery and sense of humor are used well and may go a long way toward getting teen listeners to start thinking about their futures.
