THE RICHEST MAN IN BABYLON & THE MAGIC STORY

This brief and easily digestible cassette offers clumsy self-help and inspirational fare. Produced in the format of an earnest radio drama, the title story features ersatz Babylonian synthesizer music throughout a plot reminiscent of a Sunday school lesson on prudence, thrift, and hard work. Side Two, THE MAGIC STORY, suffers from a poor adaptation. How much work would it have been to rewrite the script so that characters paged in restaurants and clubs would be updated with cell phones?
