WUTHERING HEIGHTS

Narrator Wanda McCaddon triumphs in her reading of this classic love story. Her strong and versatile narration transports the listener back in time to the Yorkshire moors and the story of star-crossed lovers Cathy and Heathcliff. McCaddon brings uncommonly good vocalizations to the characters, beautifully depicting the anguish of Cathy, the despair of Heathcliff, and the outrage of servant Joseph. The large and diverse cast of characters allows McCaddon to showcase the spectrum of her talents, treating the listener to a wide range of accents, speech patterns, and emotional inflections.
