COLD IS THE GRAVE

Major changes are in store for Chief Inspector Alan Banks when his adversarial superior asks him to find his rebellious teenaged daughter. The search takes him into a world of drugs and pornography and, ultimately, murder. Ron Keith, who has performed most of the Inspector Banks novels for Recorded Books, is an unusual but welcome choice to read this Yorkshire crime story. His delightful singsong style can be heard on audiobooks by children's and young adult authors like Brian Jacques and Roald Dahl, but it is equally as engaging in this dark crime novel. S.E.S.
