RACE AGAINST TIME

Narrator Lexi Richmond gives grit and glamour to Sala's romantic suspense. Fiery-haired loner Quinn O'Meara and Las Vegas homicide detective Nick Saldano meet again after once having shared the same foster care home. Las Vegas and its seamy underbelly are exposed as Richmond's animated voice recounts the crimes that are unleashed when a young prostitute escapes with her baby and her pimp gives chase. Richmond blends the characters smoothly and with emotion while building to an ending that continues a burgeoning romance yet comes to a screeching halt for all the others involved.
