THE TAKE

It's a shame that American listeners sometimes bypass British audios in favor of the homegrown. That's because there are some listening gems imported from the British Isles--not even available here in print--that equal the better U.S. offerings. THE TAKE, read by Tim Pepper is one. This procedural has something for everyone. Inspector Faraday's assistant is killed, his colleague’s wife is dying of cancer, a troubled surgeon is missing, and a serial mugger is on the loose.
