Recording artist and ex-Monkee Michael Nesmith founders here as the narrator of this story. While his mystical ramblings and offhand humor are appealing, Nesmith has no business playing all of the characters. Occasionally, the recording veers into audio theater, with sound effects that hint at how much more successful this project could have been had Nesmith's narration been supported by other cast members.
