GHOST ON THE LOOSE!

Dunwoodie unites poltergeists, historical romances, and modern teens as Rowan's mother moves the family in with Robert, her boring boyfriend. The girls don't expect much excitement, but when mysterious happenings begin, they never expect a ghostly cause. Narrator Vivien Heilbron skillfully recreates the girls, as well as romantic Victorian characters, when she reveals that stuffy old Robert actually writes popular romances as Marigold Gloaming. The household is under the influence of the ghostly Lady Maisie McNeil, who is unhappy with how Marigold portrays her ancestors in the money-making novels.
