THE SWALLOW TALE

Rowan, an English girl from a troubled family, falls in love with a lost pony she has named Swallow. Her interactions with Swallow and her friends, her struggle to learn riding, and the crisis of someone claiming Swallow as his own make this an interesting tale of one girl's persistence in the face of adversity. Lynda Bellingham's voice is pleasant, though somewhat deeper than that of most female narrators.
