GINNY'S EGG

In a carefully crafted story, Pippa Goodhart creates a fantasy world with a wondrous hatchling and dazzling dragons, who provide counterpoint to the topsy-turvy world of Ginny's family when their new baby arrives. As Ginny navigates between the two worlds, her own position changes to one of resolution. Brigit Forsyth is unflappable as she moves the story forward from henhouse to hospital nursery to home. She is the dazed yet determined Ginny, who is bombarded by upheaval; the perplexed parents; and the warm, reassuring Gran.
