In this sixth novel about bohemian but brilliant attorney Barbara Holloway, the stunned and uncooperative defendant, "Baby Killer Kennerman," has been accused of murdering her only child. To assure the justice that no one else is willing to pursue, Holloway reluctantly returns to the courtroom even though it means donning a suit and pantyhose. Anna Fields combines her clear voice with a delightful range of timing and emotion to present this story. Fields is especially skilled at distinctively portraying each female character's voice.
