JEEVES AND THE FEUDAL SPIRIT

To all Wodehouse fans, it's a well-known fact that Bertie Wooster couldn't survive without the support of his butler, Jeeves, who seems to have been born with the gift of anticipating every need, whim, disaster, crisis, catastrophe, faux pas, scandal, scheme, and sinister plot that is or might be occurring. Jeeves is simply stunning in his perfection. Jonathan Cecil amazes as he reads this larky narrative, capturing perfectly the befuddled Wooster, the conniving Stilton Cheesewright, and the divine Florence--with flawless aplomb. However, while Cecil reads with gusto and flair, he often swallows his words so that the rippling arpeggios of conversation disappear down his gullet. M.D.H.
