WHISPERS AT MIDNIGHT

Carly Linton returns to Benton, Georgia, after 12 years in Chicago, ready to start a new life by opening a B&B in her grandmother's home with her friend, Sandy. While moving in, they encounter Matt Converse, Carly's old boyfriend, now the town sheriff, and soon the girls are attacked by a prowler in Carly's home. As the story progresses, the flames are rekindled between Matt and Carly, but she is also attacked several more times by the unknown stalker. As Pamela Steele relates the details of the attacks, her tones are ominous and quick paced. When she reads the steamy scenes between the lovers, the details are quite risqué, and Steele's voice turns husky and deep.
