CRY FOR THE STRANGERS

All the Palmer family is looking for is peace and quiet. The "gift" that their son possesses has made it difficult for them to be accepted, and they believe that a small town would be a better environment for 9-year-old Rob. Clark's Harbor is the answer to their prayers, at first. But before too long, things begin happening to the residents of this isolated Washington community, and Chief of Police Harney Whalen suspects that the Palmers have brought some terrifying supernatural force into his town. John Saul is an outstanding suspense writer, and Mel Foster masterfully maintains the tension throughout. J.L.C.
