THE TIME TRAVELING CAT AND THE EGYPTIAN GODDESS

As the title suggests, there's a lot going on here, not just in Topher Hope's ordinary life (he and his father struggle to cope with the loss of Topher's mother), but also in Topher's extraordinary adventures following after his mysterious cat, Ka. Fortunately, David Collins, who has a distinguished British voice, is quite capable of narrating the twists of this involved story with its multiple settings and characters. Whether telling the story of modern-day England or long-ago Egypt, he gamely vocalizes a cat, a bird, and the voice of Topher's deaf friend, Ellie, managing to pull off each while maintaining the story's growing drama.
