This romance wrapped inside a mystery wrapped inside a ghost story makes for a delicious audiobook. Australian native Stephanie Foxley takes on triple duty narrating Traci Harding's unique story. A young would-be author is hired to care for a reclusive elderly patient who was once the toast of the publishing world. She has one last story to tell, and she recruits Peter to transcribe it. Soon Peter and his beautiful, clairvoyant coworker, Gabrielle, are doing everything they can to untangle the fiction, fantasy, and long-hidden family tragedies they've stumbled upon. Keeping her tone light and her pace steady, Foxley does a good job giving just a little vocal wobble to the apparition, finding a fine drunken Scottish brogue, and keeping the many characters straight for the listener.
