Cassandra Campbell's expert narration brings this wonderful piece of historical fiction to life. Claire, a fashion illustrator, is an instructor at the Grand Central Art School in 1928. Fifty years later, Virginia is a divorcée working at the information booth at Grand Central Terminal when she discovers a piece of art painted by Claire. Campbell shifts her tone and accent as she portrays the artistic women. The men are portrayed in a light tenor voice.
