STAGECOACH STATION #1: DODGE CITY

This rowdy tale of frontier justice in a cattle town is populated by Emily Barker, a beautiful young widow; Burl Channing, a vindictive federal marshal; and Frank Killian, a crafty gambler. Charlie O'Dowd expertly renders the variety of characters with various accents, as well as changes in tone, volume, and cadence. His deliberate and tense pacing matches the plot and sustains listener interest. Brief sound effects are added to break up chapters and signal the end of each cassette.
