COME ON, RAIN!

Drooping lupines. Dripping gardeners. Listless children. Panting cats. A rumbling truck that suggests thunder. And then it comes! In the distance, Tessie spots the bulging and billowing clouds. She spreads the word and the bathing suit alert. Not only the kids are involved in the ensuing rainy revelry! Leila Ali's voice is light and childlike as Tessie and her friends, compassionate as her mother, and straightforward as the narrator.
