With surprising ease, Lorelei King depicts a colorful cast of characters that include Mafia hit men, a corrupt preacher, and wealthy, debonair Max Holt. There’s plenty of sexual tension between reporter Jamie Swift and playboy Holt. She’s after the story of a lifetime; he’s right in the middle of it. King easily switches accents and personalities, carrying the listener into this charming romantic suspense. She excels in her portrayal of Muffin, a car computer with Marilyn Monroe's voice.
