Georgia, SuSu, Teeny, Diane, and Linda have been best friends since they went to high school together 30 years ago in Atlanta. The five meet monthly for lunch wearing outrageous hats and purple outfits. Diane discovers that her husband has a mistress and a secret condo, so the group put their red-hatted heads together to plot revenge. Cynthia Darlow's rendition of the five sneaking around in a van snapping illicit photographs and recording audiotape of the affair has just the right amount of animation and Southern twang. All five women face up to a personal crisis, including long-lost love, abusive marriage, money shortages, and swimming-pool- green hair.
