AT THE WEDDING

Narrator James Langton colors his performance with a wide range of voices and accents, transitioning so smoothly between characters that one forgets there's only one narrator reading this terrific audiobook. Livia has arranged to wed her longtime boyfriend, Jed, in Barcelona-- she just hasn't clued him in yet. Friends and relatives arrive for the surprise wedding, all with their own romantic issues to work out. Given its multiple plotlines, the story could be a jumble, but Langton helps listeners keep things straight.
