Penelope, a writer, is a wild card who doesn't intend to stay in some guy's house uninvited. But when she wakes up to meet Jake, she realizes he just might cure her writer's block. As Penelope makes way into Jake's life, she'll have to prove that taking a chance on her is the best decision she'll ever convince him to make. Portraying a heroine that listeners will either hate to love or love to hate, Cook nails Penelope's quippy asides and and delivers a cast of likable and uniquely voiced secondary characters who help to drive the story.
