HANK ZIPZER: I Got a "D" in Salami

In the second installment in the Hank Zipper series, Hank's misadventures as an underachiever continue as he navigates fourth grade. Henry Winkler's frenetic pace gives listeners the sense that he is, indeed, Hank. The hapless fourth-grader shows imagination and creativity as he tries to keep his report card out of his parents' hands. Disaster with a new client of Mom's Crunchy Pickle (Veggie) Deli becomes a serendipitous blessing when Hank and his parents are set on the path to solve to his underachievement curse. Henry Winkler gives each character, especially Hank and Papa Pete, distinct, realistic voices and personalities. This is sure to be a hit, in or out of the classroom. N.E.M.
