Scott Brick’s flawless reading transforms a superb story into one of the best recorded books in years. Brick nails Drummond’s irony, wit, and low-key intelligence. What’s more, he gives virtually every character a unique personality, no easy feat in a book with so many lawyers, judges, and federal agents, each trying to figure out who is brutally murdering an array of seemingly unconnected people. Private Sector is one of those rare novels that starts out strong and gets even better. Brick is truly one of the best readers. His fans, as well as Haig’s, shouldn’t miss this book. D.J.S.
