THE BOY WHO COULD FLY & THE INVISIBLE BOY

It's highly irregular for the Fat Fairy to make multiple visits to a single household. When she does, rest assured that nothing will be ordinary for Thomas and his family again. Additionally, if an alien should happen to visit, Gardner's characters know no bounds. Flying and invisibility are possible, and helpers Mr. Vinnie and Splodge are charmingly original. Glen McCready's pleasure as narrator of these two stories is clear. He shifts from a disgruntled parent to a mystified visitor to an awestruck youngster with aplomb and dexterity. His enthusiasm provides the utmost in enjoyment to each story. A.R.
