With gentle, poetic language and fitting biblical references, she recommends we set aside any ideas that we can control our children and protect them from all harm. The forces at work are bigger than that--and are within our power to influence and connect with if we follow the prayer strategies outlined in the audio. These words are calming and for most listeners will allay any anxious pretensions that they're parenting alone. Though the author's devotional fervor and deference will not sit well with every listener, this is a soothing lesson to hear and ponder.
