LOST LETTERS OF WILLIAM WOOLF

Author Helen Cullen and Rupert Penry-Jones share the narration of this debut novel celebrating the power of letters while less successfully exploring a marriage in trouble. Penry-Jones introduces us to William, a postman whose dream of being an author has been sidelined by his dedication to the task of connecting lost mail to intended recipients. Penry-Jones brings William's determination alive, while inserting bewilderment and timidity into William's voice as his wife, Clare, forces him to examine their relationship and decide if lost dreams can be reclaimed. A special group of letters is addressed simply to "My Lost Love." Helen Cullen narrates these in an inviting voice that captures William's imagination and complicates his story.
