Adam Lofbomm delivers a narration that sounds like the pleasant voice-over of instructional videos, which is exactly what this audiobook needs. The author provides down-to-earth suggestions on improving the environment at the local level. Some are easy to implement; others are much longer term. But all are doable, and Lofbomm's even voice makes them sound possible. He varies his tone and pace to suit the material, carrying the listener along. While the book is a call to action on preserving and improving the natural world, it is far from a polemic. Rather, it is more like a user's guide to what the outdoor world can and should be.
