HIDDEN TALENTS

Anne Dover is a comforting reader. She's comfortable in the telling of the story and comfortable with each of its characters. "Hidden Talents" is the name Dulcie Ballantyne has chosen for the creative writing group she wishes to form. Her printed notice on the window of the local bookstore brings together four disparate talents, all wanting to write but also wanting to keep their personal lives hidden. Dover's narration of this romantic story is more memorable than the story itself. She valiantly differentiates each personality with her vibrant enthusiasm. That's comfort. J.P.
