A busy night in the ER ends with Dr. Kate Forrester facing charges of malpractice and murder. An idealistic lawyer risks his career to save hers. Although a story about a woman doctor, this book was clearly written by a man. The women are extremely male-identified. Joyce Bean gives a good, articulate and accurate, if somewhat fast, delivery.
