In what may be one of the most specific audiobooks ever, this recording does indeed detail the journey of wool--from lamb's coat to cozy sweater. Parkes is passionate about her subject matter, which makes for a strong performance. Her depth of knowledge, eagerness to learn more, and willingness to go any distance to satisfy her curiosity emerge in her authentic voice and clear delivery. Admittedly, there are moments when the details are so esoteric that only a devoted listener would be willing to go the distance, but there are so many interesting facts that those on the fence will likely see the journey through to the end.
