If you like to hear two sides of a story, this is for you. Delightfully told from his and hers points of view, this account is cleverly written, and both narrators are matched perfectly to their parts. Andy Paris handles the clueless and shallow Bryce with kid gloves. His characterization of the handsome, popular eighth-grader evokes style and grace, although Bryce has none. Carine Montbertrand tackles the strong-willed, and environmentally concerned Julianna with ease and aplomb. She smartly captures the attitude of this outcast adolescent. While adults understand Julianna's intentions, none of her classmates have a clue. This is a charming story of growing up and finding oneself while fighting against peer pressure.
