Listeners will be pleased--then surprised--to visit the school and learn about stolen cookie money, two murder victims, and a killer on the loose. It's difficult to select a favorite character from the lineup, which includes long-suffering Father Felix, the principal; unperturbed teachers; and laugh-out-loud students. The dialogue sounds genuine, while the text is vibrant, particularly after two teachers, forceful Mrs. Johnston, and shy Mrs. Hopwood, investigate why the late Miss Pinkerton requested an urgent meeting with Father Felix just before her death.
