ROADS OF THE HEART

Eighty-two-year-old Frank Alwin, suffering the guilt of misspent political and personal power and the debilitating effects of a stroke, is desperate to make amends for a less than honorable life. His housekeeper, Adam, enlists son Eric to facilitate his journey of atonement. Michael Kramer narrates this story of father/son redemption in a flat monotone, laying down sentences like cards.
