INDIGO'S STAR

In this companion novel to SAFFY'S ANGEL, the eclectic Casson family again grapples with their notions of family and belonging. Helen Lederer maintains a pace as brisk as the action. She exudes individuality for each character. As Indigo, she can be perplexed or outraged as each new situation merits. When she portrays Rose, her letters to Daddy are laugh-out-loud funny. As the defiant and hurting Tom, she adds a distinguishing American "r." As Eve, she's as spacey as a mother could be.
