Newlywed Becky Brandon, depicted by Katherine Kellgren with a charming English accent, carries her penchant for shopping to comedic extremes in Book Four of the Shopaholic series. On a ten-month globe-trotting honeymoon with Luke, Becky maxes out credit cards and her husband's patience in avant-garde shops around the world. She returns home to find her best friend has a new best friend, her marriage is on rocky ground, and she has a new grown-up sister. Each well-drawn character is distinguished through accents, vocal tone, nuance, and personality. Good delivery, especially timing, enhances the comedic story line to bring it to a warm conclusion.
