PARADISE CITY

Giancarlo Lo Manto's father was gunned down by the Camorra, a Neapolitan crime family. Now a homicide detective for the Naples police force, Lo Manto is waging a one-man war against the crime family to avenge is father. Pete Rossi, current head of the crime family in New York, determines to trap Lo Manto by kidnapping his niece. Traveling to the States, Lo Manto teams up with NYPD Detective Jennifer Fabini. David Colacci reads the text in a tight, clipped style, shifting smoothly from Italian accents to New York accents to his nondescript narrative style.
