WAY OF LIFE

Listening to this collection of Lakota songs, sung in the native language and accompanied only by a drum, is a moving and unusual audio learning experience. The words to these songs express a variety of personal and nature themes, and are printed in Lakota and English on the cover/insert. The beauty of these deeply moving words forces the listener to give up European logic and verbosity in favor of simple moral themes that might otherwise visit us only while sleeping in the wilderness or perhaps meditating.
