Narrator Alana Kerr Collins lends her subtle and engaging Irish accent to author Catherine Ryan Howard's mystery involving the COVID-19 pandemic, first encounters, secrets, and revenge. Gradually unraveling each enigmatic twist, Collins compellingly narrates multiple perspectives while the setting shifts from past to present. Her interpretations of the chemistry between the couple and the humorous banter between the detectives are especially noteworthy.
