THE HIGH HOUSE

Narrators Camilla Rockley, Sam Newton, and Mariam Abu-Hejleh work together to create a lush listening experience about four people struggling to survive during the seeming end of the world. Half-siblings Caro and Pauly race out of London, straight to High House. Once used only during their summer holidays, it is now one of the few remaining safe havens as worldwide tides rise precipitously. Sally and her grandfather, Grandy, the house's caretakers, soon become family as the four huddle together in the middle of a climate disaster. Rockley, Newton, and Abu-Hejleh create a rich vocal palette for these diverse characters of varying ages.
