Christina Moore’s pleasant and well-paced reading delivers this combination of biblical history and management advice. There’s no preaching or moralistic intensity here, and the juxtaposition of business abstractions and charming biblical vignettes is enjoyable, if not completely engaging. Most listeners will hear the overall package as interesting and at times clever, but not as ground-breaking leadership advice. The content succeeds as entertainment and a low-octane management lesson that a wide spectrum of young managers will appreciate. It will certainly appeal to Christian listeners who are eager to bring the life of Jesus into modern significance and organizational relevance.
