THE FARM ON NIPPERSINK CREEK

Adults will be most appreciative of Jim May's stories of his growing up in the rural Midwest. The stories are a little low-key, and May's telling lacks some of the vivacity that holds listeners of all ages. These aren't knee-slapping whoppers but mostly wry stories of friends and family. Also in print from August House, May's stories may be slightly more approachable in that format. May speaks clearly and tells the stories at a lazy afternoon pace.
