FASTER The Acceleration of Just About Everything

Fast is not the manner in which this book is read. In fact, McDonough's generally fine reading is punctuated with many--perhaps too many-- pauses intended to allow the listener some time to reflect on what has been read. McDonough's baritone voice is clear and strong and enjoyable to the ear. There is some significance in listening to this book because it concerns the modern obsessions with time and, most especially, making the most of it.
